FAQ
- Can’t I accomplish the same thing through other programs like BNI or through social networking like LinkedIn and Twitter? Business Network International (BNI) is a fabulous networking program. If most of your sales come from your local area, then we would highly recommend BNI as the right place for you. Our system caters to people who have a wide geographic sales area and cover a niche market which is less effective in a local networking group. As far as social networking using services such as LinkedIn and Twitter, we would recommend that you join them. In fact, as part of our networking education, we will educate you on how to get the most from these services. Our service is complementary with, not competitive to social networking services.
- What if my industry niche doesn’t have a teleconference going yet? Start your own. If you haven't attended one yet, join a Starting a RadReferral Group training call to learn how to be successful so you can start making your own calls.
- Can I join more than one team? Yes, you can join more than one team as long as the geographies don’t overlap. However, you must be productive for each team you are in. You are also obligated by the Honor Code to keep information confidential; that is, only within your current team.
- What if I can’t attend a meeting? RadReferral works on a points system. If you get a substitute to sit in for you, you get positive points. If you are absent, you are assessed a penalty for each additional absence. If over time your team decides you are not contributing enough (as evidenced by your points total), your position will be opened to someone else in your profession.
- Can more than one person in a profession join a single team? Possibly. Our members have exclusive rights to their profession within a team. Circumstances do arise, however, based on geography and product mix in which it helps everyone for the new member to join that team.
- I only market to a portion of the territory as defined in RadReferral. Am I still eligible for membership? Yes. However, understand that you will be measured by your contribution to the group. If you do not cover all of the area in your team, you will have to bring the value from your limited area. There is also the option of starting a new team with the new defined territory.
- Can I start a new geographic area? Yes. We will help you start your new team and refer potential members to you as they come in.
- What if I want to join a group and my niche is already filled? Try joining the group to see if you are needed. If that doesn’t work, start your own group.
